The GPA is very low for U-M unless there is an explanation for it I would consider you a reach even with the high ACT score.`

GPA is a bit low but the research will probably help.
So, I would say reach.

Just to clarify, what exactly is an 3.35? I don’t use that scale in school, I have an 89 on a 100 scale. Same thing?

An 89/100

You just divide by 25, since this is based off a 4.0 scale. Thus:

89 divided by 25: 3.56

That’s not how it works.

It makes sense too, if you get all B’s in high school you end up with a 3.0. However 85/25 is 3.4.

I have no idea because people always argue how to convert to the 4.0 scale. I should just say that my average is an 89/100.

While your ACT is excellent, Michigan is a reach with the low grades.

To convert your score(?) to a 4.0 scale, you need to use this to find the amount of grade points you earned for all of your classes, then you need to average them.
