So I'm looking at majoring in economics and understand that both CAS and Stern offer an economics major. Naturally I would rather go to Stern but I'm
not sure if I have what it takes. Opinions please.

Saying that you “did well” with your tutor doesn’t mean you’re going to do well on the actual ACT. If you do get a 32+ I would say you have a decent chance at acceptance ED at CAS ( high match). Stern would probably be a reach.

Average High School GPA: 3.63
SAT Score Range (middle 50%): 1300 - 1440
ACT Score Range (middle 50%):29 - 31
Ranked in Top 10% of High School Class: 72.3%

Thats NYU’s freshmen profile, with a higher GPA and solid ACT score you still think CAS would be a high match???

unless you get a school by school breakdown (Stern, Steinhardt, CAS, Gallatin, Tisch, SCPS, Silver, Nursing, ) these statistics are ALMOST pointless.
