I know my GPA is pretty low, but at least my test scores are good.

Your weighted GPA doesn’t matter at all.

What’s your UW GPA? That’s one of the most important number in college admissions. If you don’t know it, then calculate it.

I calculated it to be a 3.55

Your test scores are phenomenal! I’m jealous. ;)

Your ECs are a little bit lacking, a little cookie-cutter. I do like the concentration in swimming though and perhaps if you can continue this passion through your essays, then you’ll be in great shape.

But, your UW GPA is a cause for alarm. You mentioned the rigor of your school. Duke will evaluate your GPA in the context of this rigor so your GPA may make you a hit or miss.

I wish you luck though and would like to say that I know nothing more than any other CC poster, so take my words like a grain (or pound) of salt. I’m applying ED Duke too! :)
