Chance for ED?

I posted this earlier but I only got a few responses. I am now deciding between Columbia and Brown for ED, but I'm leaning towards Columbia.

So, do I have a chance? I love the school. Again, I will ptobably apply ED.

bump 10 char

I would say that we cant really give a good chance without seeing teacher recs and essays.

OKay. I obviously don’t have the recs or essays yet, but I have planned at least two of my essays, and my recs should be really good.

I would say that you have a decent shot. But what are your AP scores? and you will need to take the SAT II’s soon.

looks good to me. SAT I is great, GPA is slightly low, but I guess it’s a tough courseload so no problems.

ECs are solid, nothing special, but ED should get you in. My opinion of course.

I thought AP scores didn’t matter in admissions?

^^ I don’t understand why people think that AP scores do not matter… If they didn’t matter why do they have you put your AP scores? AP scores gauge how you compare to everyone else in the nation in your AP classes. It also reflects on your weighted GPA.

i.e. a person with a 4.3 W but only 2’s and 3’s AP’s so obviously not as qualified as someone with 4.2 W but has all 5’s or 4’s on APs.

Well if you really wanted to, you could just lie since you’re never required to send in official scores unless you’re trying to get credit.
