<p>For summer session I think you’d be ok…assuming you apply EARLY. Retake the SAT and ACT after preparation.</p>
<p>my recalculated g.p.a is a 3.8. i rank 15 out of 200. i applied pretty early. i believe i applied on August 29.</p>
<p>shawn - your gpa and class rank should get you in, but to be safe, I would retake the SAT/ACT one more time to try to bring those scores up. I think that means taking the Dec 4th SAT and Dec. 14th ACT. I don’t think the later tests would get to them in time.</p>
<p>I think you’ll get in; I’m from Florida, so I’m more familiar with the “type of students” that get in.</p>
<p>those scores i gave you are the highest scores. ive taken both, the sat and the act, twice. its the best i can do. im not a test taker. and they tell me on december 8th if i make it in anyways. so its too late to retest. i hope i get in. :<<<</p>

<p>thats pretty cool. my g.p.a. seems to be right on average… but my test scores are a bit under… i guess i just got to cross my fingers and hope for the best.</p>

<p>shawn - doesn’t FSU have 2 admit dates - one in Dec and one in Jan? I think you can be deferred in Dec and get in in Jan if you submit more test scores from the Dec tests. Maybe you should call the FSU admissions and ask.</p>

<p>You have a decent chance. Probably a low reach. If you bring your ACT or SAT up to 28 and 1900 respectively, you will be in. Good luck!
