Right now i feel like im only capable of getting into ucr but i really dont want to go there. Id rather get into ucsd, davis, and santa barbara. What are my chances for getting into each uc school? Thanks!

is your SAT score out of 1600 or 2400?

What is your UC GPA?

My sat is out of 2400 and uc gpa is 3.59

Your SAT is low for those schools. What is you CR+M? What major?

1010 and im trying to major in physiology or anything that can help me become a physical therapists

I do have to say that im hoping to boost my score by at least a hundred so my sat score will change before i send in my final report
Gtg for now…

UCSD, UCD & UCSB are reaches for you.

UCR/UCM: High Match/Match
UCSC: High Match/Low Reach
UCI/UCD/UCSB/UCSD: Reach
UCB/UCLA: High Reach

Your GPA and test scores are below average for all the UC’s including UC Merced and Riverside. Bump up your test scores into the 1800 range, you UCR and UCM would be solid Matches. If you are a California Resident, you should look at some of the Cal States: CSU Fullerton, Cal Poly Pomona, Northridge, Sonoma, Chico, Sac State, San Jose State for solid Match and safety schools.

Good Luck.

I ended up checking since i wasnt sure about some of the answers and my gpa and sat is actually not below for ucm or ucr. im basically average and ucm does admit more than 50% students with a gpa of 3.7. Now considering cal and ucla are far reaches ill adjust my admission process, but thanks anyway

They look at UC GPA not your school GPA, so technically it’s a 3.59 instead of a 3.73.

Merced’s averages are a 3.67 and a 1616 SAT, so you’re just a hair below both those.
Riverside’s averages are at about a 3.78 and a 1746.

There’s also links on that page for a pdf version which tells you the admit rates for each range of the GPA, and they’re pretty high for you, based solely on your UC GPA.

Urgh well they sent me a letter with something different. so i dont know if that was wrong or not, i was just going by what they sent me.

Well anyways thank you guys for the responses. I have what i need. Wish there was a way to delete the thread but whatever.
