I’ll chance you for the ones that aren’t reaches on your list: UMI and Berkeley.

UMI: Low match (perhaps even safety)
Berkeley: Match

How can you have a 4.0 but have 3 C’s?

I’m not exactly sure about how your school calculates GPA :P, but your SAT score and extracurriculars are quite strong - I’d say you have a good chance of making it into Berkeley! As someone who lives in NorCal, I’ll also say that UCs in general are kind of facing budget cuts right now and they’re therefore a lot more willing now than before to accept OOS kids. You also have a great chance at UMich! Based on the admits/rejects I know personally, Caltech would probably be a reach. And HYPSM are all reaches as well - don’t let that lower your hopes or anything, it’s just that those schools are reaches for EVERYONE. (:

b/c I have 100/near 100 for all my other classes
