chance for Harvard early action?

<p>Im a white male from NY at a solid HS. Intended major: math</p>

<p>Grades/Scores:</p>

<p>SAT:
March, 2011-780 CR, 800 Math, 800 Writing.......2380</p>

<p>SAT II's:
Biology E, 780
Chemistry, 800
Math II, 800
Physics, 760</p>

<p>^All, and only SAT scores above were sent</p>

<p>AP Exams:
US History-5 (My school lost our short response, so this is a projected score based on the multiple choice section, as shown on the score report)
Statistics-5
Physics B-5</p>

<p>Grades: Probable rank of 1, 2, or 3 in grade with AP and honors classes</p>

<p>Common App Essay- unique, witty, funny essay on the balance in my life (social and academic)
Harvard supp- insightful,descriptive essay on math and nature</p>

<p>Recs- guidance counselor very good, continues with the idea of balance (and summer camp)
Precalculus teacher- apparently very good, "extremely memorable" to quote my guidance counselor
9th grade math/research teacher/9-12 grade Mathletes advisor- very good</p>

<p>Good chance, although your EC’s are not stellar (rather, there are a ton of them).</p>

<p>I agree with bobtheboy. Ultimately it depends on how Harvard treats their SCEA class, and since we don’t have previous results to rely upon there’s no way of knowing how they do so.</p>
