<p>GPA - 4.29 Weighted, don't know Unweighted
Class Rank - Definitely top 15%, perhaps 10%, our school doesn't rank
ACT - 31 34 CR 33 W 29 S 29 M
SATIIs - 740 (Lit), 760 (US), 770 (World)
Classes - Took the most rigorous schedule possible except for Math Senior Year (Regular Calculus), and dropped Honors Analysis my Junior Year (will show up on transcript, not sure how bad this hurts me)</p>

<p>Activities:
- Forensics (Vice President), Finals at Nationals, 10th at Yale Forensics Tournament, among other awards
- Political Participation Club (President)
- Economics Club (Vice-President)
- Federal Challenge (Member) - reached semi-finals
- Amnesty International (Senior Officer)
- Micro finance Organization (Co-Founder)
- Political Opinion Newspaper (Executive Editor)
- Red Cross Club (Senior PR Officer)
- Our school newspaper (Journalist)
- Worked at Intern for Sussex County Public Defender's Office for a Year
- Went to a YMCA Trip to Macedonia to help build housing for impoverished Roma population (200 hours)
- Worked for Somerset County Young Democrats (Helped run a grassroots campaign for local elections) </p>

<p>Other: Talked about working at Public Defender's Office for common app (law emphasis). Took a compositional risk in the ILR essay by setting it in the future, talked about Iran and it's labor issues. Don't know if dropping Analysis will hurt me (shows up as Withdrawn Absent),</p>

<p>Your ACT’s seem low for Cornell. Also what leadership positions have you had?</p>

<p>Leadership is all in parenthesis next to the ECs. I think Cornell’s 25-75 percentile is 29-32, so I am smack dab in the middle. I know that ACTs will hurt me, I’m just trying to assess just how much.</p>

<p>Ok you have leadership your essay may hurt you as well. BTW my daughter applied Ed ILR and her stats were 3.9 Weighted GPA. 2190 SAT m-760, cr-690, w- 740. SAT II us-770, MAth II 720. Went to Cornell’s summer college at got a A in the Psych. class that was taught by the chairman of the department at Cornell. In addition, she is legacy. Good luck in 6 days!</p>
