Chance for International

Hey,
Could you chance me for Georgia Tech (could you also chance me for UC-Berkeley?)
SAT I - 780 M/ 600 CR/ 650 W - 2030 tot
SAT II - 800 Maths II/ 780 Physics/ 760 Chem
GPA - 3.85
Major - Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Nationality - Indian
EC -
School webmaster
School's official photographer
Computer club official
Student govt.
Organized and taught in a summer workshop in computers
Good programmer - won many interschool competitions ( 5 or 6), in which about 25 school participate ( are inter- school competitions in U.S.A popular. and is it a big deal to win them there??)

I was talking to somebody about my chances, he said that i have many things against me like.. being International student, selecting a popular major like COE, low Critical Reading score.

So what do you think my chances are?

Your major does not matter. At all. Georgia Tech does not consider what major you're applying under for admissions.

That said, I'm not sure about the pros/cons of being an international as far as admissions are concerned, but if you were instate, or even out of state, I'd say you are in.

Oh I just noticed you also wanted to be chanced for UCB. To be honest, your SAT and GPA are both low, so I'd say Berkeley's a reach school for you. The fact that you're international makes it even harder since UCs heavily favor CA students.
