<p>Hi im currently a sophmore and like others my dream college is Harvard but not simply because its, well, Harvard. The history of Harvard and the fact that it's one of the oldest colleges in the world is something that intrigues me. Anyways, </p>
<p>8th Grade I took AP World History and got a 3 (first AP, my teacher passed away during the year so we didnt learn much)
9th Grade I took AP US Government and got a 3 (this was disappointing)
i had a 3.2 GPA (i know this is low) but it was before i had things really figured out and i had terrible time management which i have mostly figured out now</p>
<p>Currently in 10th grade i am taking:
AP Computer Science A
AP English Language
AP European History
AP Biology
AP Macroeconomics and AP Microeconomics.
Spanish II
Honors Chemistry
Pre-Calculus</p>
<p>I believe i will have a 3.8 GPA for my sophmore year (unweighted)</p>
<p>Next year as a junior i will be taking:
AP Literature
AP Calculus BC
AP US History
AP Chemistry
AP Spanish
AP Physics</p>
<p>For Extracurriculars and out of school accolades, </p>
<p>I have gotten first place in WordWright competition.
I run track, I am a mid distance runner and i run the 400m, 800m and 4x8
I am part of a web development club in my school.
I volunteered over 180 hours last summer at my local library and for my city's street ops department by entering data and crafting signs.
Im very deeply involved in tech and i plan to open up my own website focused on tech and start up a YouTube channel centered on tech ( this is my passion and i have been engrossed in technology since i was very young by making computers and circuits and programming)
I taught my self how to code in C++, C, and python.
I am part of the leadership society in my school as well</p>
<p>I aim to get a 2100+ on the SAT and 230+ on the PSAT.</p>
<p>Thank you for reading, please give me your thoughts on whether or not i have a fairly good chance of getting into Harvard. Also any suggestions you may have on as to what i should do for the next year to "better" my chances... :)</p>
