My essays were top notch and I'm certain they will enhance my chance significantly. My letters of recommendation came from my school principle, guidance counselor, and one of the US Senators from Florida and they were also extremely positive. I am also Hispanic, an underrepresented minority, I believe.

I am not sure what I want to major in, but I am thinking about Political Science, Economics, or Mathematics, or perhaps a combination of the three somehow. I plan on using scientific research and technological advancements in order to better our government's policy making. I've always dreamed of working at a kind of think tank like the RAND Corporation, maybe as a political or financial analyst. My biggest hobby is music, and it has been my passion and relief since I first learned piano at the age of three. That's pretty much all you should need, but feel free to ask questions.

Well, chance me!

Anyone else hate this guy?
He supposedly is so perfect, but he can’t spell Stanford or competitive.

^ He is very likely lying. :)

I never imagined sayign this to anyone, but you’re in at all of them!!! Your GPA and rank are especially good, considering that you’re from “an extremely competative magnet school”.

I am surprised that both posters have been so credulous thus far, unless they are being ironic.

^^ Oh, I envy you for your na

^ Some would argue that ignorance is a bliss :)

Oh, so I made two typos while typing fast, boo hoo. :p

And I can assure you I am not lying; remember that some of my AP tests I just predicted a score based on how I’m doing in the course now. I wouldn’t lie though, although I pity anyone who may think so.

I’ll chance back if wanted.

Considering this year’s decisions are already released and you claiming that you have written your essay for next year’s common application topic is a logical fallacy, I would say one could safely assume that everything you have posted thus far is fabricated.

Your stupidity knows no bounds :)

How was I possibly being credulous and naive? I was being absolutely serious guys - the OP’s a genius and will probably get into any school he wishes and accomplish everything in life (excepting to chance himself, obvoiusly). I would never be sarcastic about anything.

(I’ll play along…)

If you are qualified to chance anyone back in a meaningful fashion, you ought to know that you would be accepted anywhere and probably sit among a handful of the most likely-to-be-admitted college applicants ever. But you’re lying, so I say this for no reason. ;)

Duly noted. :)

So you guys think I’d be a reach at Duke?

No way! It would be a match or safety. (But wait, I forgot, no one should call a top 10 school a safety… yeah it’s a reach.) But I heard that they waitlist a lot of over-qualified applicants, so you never know…

Well, we don’t know your stats, so I can’t say for sure. Most likely, however, you are a reach for Duke.

You live in Florida yet the third ranked high school is Whitney High School in Cerritos, CA…?

You know, I think you’re all just jealous and bitter that you couldn’t have achieved as much as I did. By the way, I got accepted at Harvard; thanks everyone!

@clfdwlr, we were 3rd in 2007 and 7th in 2008.

With your penchant for lying, I would say any legitimized institution for higher education would be considered a reach. :)

I congratulate you on your acceptance to the Harvard Class of 2015, you may hold the record for earliest likely letter ever.

^^That’s amazing!!:open_mouth: Good luck next year at Harvard!

Are you going to the admitted students weekend?

Nah, I’ll be in Australia fixing global warming.
