My first choice is definitely yale. But I think I am just the typical asian applicant from NJ without any real hooks. Also, I haven't really started my essays yet and I don't really know what to write about.

Thanks to anyone who read everything in this thread. I will chance back.

You should do great after HYPSW. You’re certainly in the running at those, but being an ORM from NJ, all I can say is you need a knock out application. I’d put you in the group of needing an outstanding private counselor if your family can afford one.

Your stats are AMAZING, but as an unhooked Asian, I would agree with hmom5 that those high Ivies are going to be a bit difficult. Other than that though, you should get into almost all of your choices, but I would definitely add at least one safety in the event that you get horribly unlucky. Good Luck!

@hmom what do you mean private college counselor? how much do they usually cost?

…woww
how did u even manage to do all those things??
My stats are similar to yours but I don’t do debate or newspaper, which take up an insane amt. of time. there’s only 5 days a week. How do you juggle all those EC’s??

I think that you have amazing stats and that you should do well with admissions-adding a safety school would be a good idea though =) How did you self study Stats, Micro/Macro?I’d love to know!

I think you have a shot at HYPWCDDNWAS if you get your SAT scores up and get a race change sarcasm.

wowwwwwww! your score is incredible!! + lots ec.
indeed you make me scared. haha
how can someone do that great esp. non-us from public school.
