Recs:
One from my PreCal, AP Calc, and AP Stats teacher. He has also been my advisor all throughout high school. GREAT recommendation. The other is from my APUSH teacher who I travelled to Europe with during the summer after my sophomore year for a study program. Also a GREAT recommendation.

Perfect GPA, excellent test scores and decent ECs, all expounded by your race, makes you a match candidate for the schools that you have listed.

Solid Solid stats, Great ACT, and very strong math (congrats hehe)
Though it would be helpful if you posted your awards but i’m not sure if you even have to.

URM with stats like yours, you’re a serious contender at every single IVY. I would not be surprised if you get accepted into all of them if you have a stellar essay. (I knew some urm people that has close to your stats and got into stanford princeton yale and all the lower ivys that they applied to)

Well I’m sure you’ll do great, congrats on all the achievement so far.

very solid applicant. best chances you could hope for, which are unfortunately, still not good. nothing personal, it’s just there are going to be hundreds, if not thousands, of applicants just like you.

you also realise that if you apply to Yale or Stanford early, you can submit no other early applications, right?

^^ the guy is URM, there are not hundreds of other URMs with stats as solid as this guys, at least not from what i’ve seen. And I’ve known of URMs getting into many of those top schools (getting into all of them actually) with weaker stats.

titanswim - As a URM with stats that would make for even a solid Asian candidate for all Ivies, I feel comfortable saying you’ve got a great shot at most, if not all, of them. Your 4.0 UW GPA and 35 ACT are great. If your family income is below $100K, I think you’re definitely in at most, if not all. If above $100K, you’ve still got a very good shot, but its not a 100% one.

I think that, if you nail the essays, you’re getting accepted into most of these universities. You possess all the stats, leadership, and experience of a solid White candidate, so being African American is going to give you a huge boost. Consider yourself fortunate in that respect.

I would say:

Safety - Boston College
Good Match - Notre Dame, UPenn
Low Reach - Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford

I predict that you’ll be admitted to at least one of HYPS, probably two or more. Congratulations on all your success throughout high school. Best of luck! :)

Wow…very jealous of your stats! I’d say you have an excellent chance at all of these, probably a shot at getting some scholarship money as well!
