Chance for Ivy League? Help PLEASE!!

Hey guys it's just another person here wondering whether or not he can get into Ivy Schools...

So straight into the points:

I am a sophomore (going junior), with a GPA of 4.57, rank 6 out class rank of 800s, rank 8 out of the whole school rank of 2500s. I am currently a IBer, intending to do full IB diploma, I am also doing honors and APs for most of my classes (8-9 classes). I have never taken a real SAT/ACT but for one SAT practice test I got: CriReading:600 Math: 720 Writing: 800. Yeah I know I need improvements in Critical Reading, any suggestions? (It's a bit hard for me since I am not a English native speaker. My first lang. is Mandarin, second is Taiwanese, third English, now trying hard to learn Spanish XD.) I have been in America for almost 7 years now. Extra Curriculum included Red Cross, school Newspaper, Mock Trial (law), CSF (stands for California Scholarship Federation), Key Club (community service), Tennis (though interested in basketball, mom won't let me)... As for the upcoming school year, (as a junior) I want to rejoin Academic Decathlon and perhaps other good clubs as well...
I have entered several poems into contests and had them published separately, I have competed in History Day and went as far as State Rounds... As a junior I want to do Science Fair but my ideas included expensive equipment...(You see, I am poor...)...
I want to help in local hospital but they told me that I am too young (age: 15, turning 16 around the end of this year...)

I hope I can get some feedback from college students/graduates as well from that of my peers. If there's any information not mentioned and you want to know in order to consider please let me know!!

Thank you for all the help!!

As you already said, work on your CR, and keep your grades as high as possible. I am sure you already know that, but that is the only real advice I can give you.

So far, you are not on track, but can’t say much until after junior year.

Kieran0696

Thanks. I will keep up the work.

dblazer

Not on track? Really? I thought I am since I am taking the hardest courses in my school. (Going to take AP Amer. Lit, AP Calculus, Theory of Knowledge, AP Physics, AP Economics, Spanish 3 Hnr., Journalism 2, and I am already done with AP American History and AP European History…and etc.)
Do you still think that I am not on track even with those classes? O_O
If so, do you have any suggestions?

maybe he made a typo haha. I’d say as long as you get your SAT up, you will be a very competitive applicant.

dblazer was that a typo?

I think your interest in basketball and your passion for the sport will really carry your application to the next level.
