Colleges:
Dartmouth, Cornell, Brown, U Rochester, SUNY Geneseo, Williams, Lehigh, Lafayette, BC, Middlebury

Could you please rate a couple of them with Reach, Match or Safety. Thank you so much in advance!

Bump ittt!

Come on people!! BUMPPP

i really think you have an excellent chance at all these schools. i’m jealous
Dartmouth- M
Cornell- M
Brown- M/ R
All others= Safeties?

Really Chicago? I don’t think that the Ivies can bematches for anyone, but thanks for your input. Anyone else?

i think youve got a great shot, the 3 ivies are most likely low reaches(probably in) as they are for most people…
the rest, id say you def in  which is awesome ^^ good job :)

Your resume is really strong, so I would say in at all schools with slight reaches at the Ivies.
Good luck!

Your application is strong, but I would not call the Ivies matches.

good chances most

You’re definitely in at Rochester and Geneseo.

Nearly all of the above ‘chancers’ are extremely naive.

Dartmouth, Cornell, Brown, and Williams are definitely reaches for you, as they are for nearly everyone else. Your SAT II scores are extremely low for these schools.

Middlebury is probably a high match (it’s much better than what most people think, and many haven’t even heard of the school), BC is a match.

University of Rochester, SUNY Geneseo, Lehigh, and Lafayette can pretty much be considered safeties.

As I previously alluded to, I agree with The Government.

Thanks so much to everyone! Especially the Government… you really broke it down the most realistically (you too turtle).

Any more opinions anyone?

The only thing really ‘keeping you down’ are your SAT II scores… everything else looks really good.

But then again, at these highly selective schools, it takes very little for adcoms to reject you.

Well… I am taking another SAT II in June (USH) and hoping to get above a 700. The only places where I will be “forced” to submit the SAT II’s are Dartmouth, Cornell, Lehigh and Lafayette. Can I choose to send my best two SAT II’s to them instead of all 4?

I think you are making a good call not submitting your SAT I/II scores when possible. Your ACT score is much stronger. I’ve never seen a Reading for the New SAT class before (I don’t think that will help or hurt…just interesting) although they may laugh when you just submit the ACT lol. Anyways, the ivies are definitely reaches but it’s not out of the question you have a very strong resume.

Why not consider Maine schools–Bates, Bowdoin, Colby? Bowdoin and at least one other is SAT optional, so your scores would not be an issue. Check out their rankings in USNWR if that is important to you, or check out their selectivity rate. They have a number of cross-applications with some of the schools you have mentioned. See Williams/Bowdoin/Macalester thread going on right now.

^ Well… I actually am making one last visit very soon to the colleges that I already listed and I will not be able to make a trip up to Maine. ^

All the Ivy’s are reaches anymore, no guarantees for anyone but a select few with some sort of hook (rich alumni, URM, athlete). Geneseo and U of R , rest are matches/safeties.
