Question: What are my chances?
Intended Major: Sociology

Why do you like Sarah Lawrence?

Well, I like the 6:1 student per faculty ratio, and as a sucker in SAT, I like SLC bcuz the jerky SAT is optional there?
So answer my question, Catsdog. Thank you for your help :D

You don't have any chances...no I’m just kidding. Really, you have just as many chances as anyone else... well, statistically a little more than the average applicant. The thing is Sarah Lawrence doesn't have that statistical, stereotypical admissions conundrum where only students with good grades and good test scores get accepted. This, however makes the process of a concrete, solid acceptance, for some students, a little more foggy for an easy acceptance into the school. OK, that statement made absolutely no sense, but my point is at Sarah Lawrence you never really know who will be accepted...maybe someone with a 3.3, another with a 4.0. I think what will make or break your application is your essay. You better have one good essay…this is extremely important!

Oh man, you really frightened me :(. But I was like ooooohhhhhhhh. after learning that you're just kidding :). Dude, you really frightened me.
Anyway, as you say the application process is foggy: I requested an interview but no one seems to care about it.
To be honest, man, I'm seeking for fin aid. Would that mess my app process, like decrease my chance significantly or even ruin it? Thanks for your info.
Hey man, next time don't begin with such horrible and threatening phrase :)

Just re-read my previous post and I find it a lil' bit offensive. I'm so sorry to sound such rude; I actually don't mean it.

Oh, I didn't take your post offensively...don't worry about it. Now regarding your question about financial aid: to be honest, I know nothing about it. My guess, however, is that requesting aid won't "mess up your app process." From my research, it seems that Sarah Lawrence is pretty generous with need-based aid, and The Princeton Review even gave SLC a grade of 90, on a scale of 100, for its financial aid system. I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Just apply for FASA by February 1st.

Thanks, catsdog. I sent my files a week ago. I really love SLC and hope to go there. Ah, I have a question: would a 1370/2100 SAT help or hurt me?

they dont take scores.i just dont understand why people dont know this. tell people

Oh my god I'm waitlisted by Sarah lawrence College.
What do you guys suggest me to do to get in?

did you find out online?

Nope, they emailed me the admission decision
