OOS: Reach

oy...bioeng..thats incredibly difficult with those stats....i mean it is a reach even in unimpacted majors...

UCD, UCSB are matches...not sure but maybe UCI too...

Can i send them an email to change my major or something, cuz I really wanna go to ucsd.

i think they're already reviewing freshman apps right now...but heres the deal: getting rejected from bioeng doesnt necessarily mean rejection from the UC: its a twofold app process...however, a better idea would be speaking to the admin dept @ ucsd...

OK well I just sent the admissions office an email asking if I can change my major to Human Biology. Im going to call them tomorrow cuz its too late tonight. Anyone else have any good ideas cuz Im dying to go to this school. BTW I live in SD so does that help my chances?

nope...they just got rid of the local preference thingy last november

anyone else have any input...? please?
