Can anyone tell me if I have a chance of getting into any BS/MD programs?

ACT: TBD

Extra Curriculars:
Model United Nations
Soccer
Tennis
Fall Play (one semester)

Invisible Children
GSA
Tutoring (history and anatomy)
Pep Band

Volunteering: Library, School, and Hemophilia organization

I've also shadowed three doctors (a neonatologist, hematoncologist, and ER physician) and I plan on doing something in breast cancer research over the summer.

I know my GPA's a bit low, but is there a teensy chance I could possibly get into one? or can I possibly raise it first semester senior year?

GPA - yeah, it’s low. and you’ll be done applying by the end of the first semester, so it doesn’t really matter if you get it up.

ACT - try to counter your GPA with this. I would really have to know this score to chance you.

Are you a leader or founder of these EC’s? Or, have you been playing/member for a long time? Be sure to get in lots of hours for whatever you do.

Good volunteering, but get long hours in. I’d need to know how much you’ve done.

Shadowing and research, excellent, both are needed for bs/md!

Overall, good med activities! I just need numbers and hours to chance you :)

Colleges recalculate your gpa based on a set scale they have because different schools have different weighting systems, so they will take that into account. 33 + is a really good score to have on the acts if you are applying to ba md programs. Have you taken any aps? Also, for most programs you need to take 2 sat ii subject tests , usually one in math and one in science. Good luck to you!
