Chance for MIT and other schools

The only problem is that everybody who applies to those schools has incredible stats. However, your stats are very good, and I think you have a great chance of getting into Case Western and RPI. My brother is actually in JHU’s BME program! That is a match for you. All the other schools listed are match schools, but you must remember that not getting in is not a result of bad grades. Usually, you just need something to set yourself apart. Try to emphasize your individuality in your essays!

Really good chances!

Do you have any more Medical ECs? I can probably help a bit more if I know this…

I think John Hopkins and WashU is easy for you, all the others are reaches, understand tho that all ivy leagues are reaches for anyone

MIT- Better than the average applicant’s chance, but still a high reach!
Dartmouth- Good chance.
Duke- I think you have an okay shot.
Johns Hopkins- Good chance.
Harvard- high reach… Like MIT, I wouldnt be surprised if you got accepted, but I wouldn’t be surprised if you got rejected either.

I’m not sure about the 7 year med programs

You have a great resume, but like everyone said these programs are all luck. Apply for whatever you can because you never know, but I will say that I was talking to my doctor and she was saying that from an “insider’s view” hospitals prefer pre-med to med school students because they usually have more extensive knowledge. Just a tip, but I still strongly encourage you to apply! I also heard that Harvard’s program isn’t actually that good and Northwestern’s is crazy hard. You need to be invited to apply, and there are 40 spots out of the few hundred that are invited to apply. However, your GPA is good so once you raise the test scores I say go for it.

Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-pennsylvania/1350153-first-cc-post-sorry-its-chance.html

from what i’ve heard, most of these programs are crazy hard to get into. that said, however, you’ve got a pretty solid chance if your standardized testing scores go up (like everyone else said lol)

try to focus your extracurricular activities (towards medicine) and write awesome essays!

other than that, good luck!
