My essays will be good, I have some interesting topics to write about and I believe I show my personal "voice" well. One of my recommendations will be amazing (my band teacher), and my other will be alright (my AP Chem teacher). I have visited every university I have applied to so I hope that shows demonstrated interest. I am undecided on a major but am interested in neuroscience and psychology, and maybe minoring in music/Spanish.

Am I aiming for about the right schools? Should I aim higher, lower? Any chance I might get merit aid? I have already been admitted to my safety (state flagship), so no worries there. I appreciate any and all feedback.

Bump… I would really appreciate some chances.

Notre Dame: match
WUSTL: low reach
Loyola: safety

You are definitely academically qualified for all schools, but you ECs are a little weak from what I see. Nothing incredibly impressive stands out. But I still think you have a good shot at all of them. I can chance you for Notre Dame and WUSTL, but I don’t know much about Loyola.

Notre Dame: High match/low reach (they love service)
WUSTL: low reach (be sure to demonstrate interest because they are big on that)

Good luck! I hope you get in!

Notre Dame: High match (EA)/Reach (RD)
WUSTL: Reach
Loyola Chicago: Safety

might look at Holy Cross-1 hour from Boston. HC is a top25 LAC similar to Notre Dame but easier to get into.
