Chance for Northeastern (in Boston) University?

I am a male, Indian NJ resident.

GPA: 3.08
SAT: 1670 (Math- 610, Critical Reading- 470, Writing- 590)
Decent Essay.
Above 300 volunteer hours.
Applied for NO financial aid.

I know it is a stretch for Northeastern.

Ehhhh for NEU, The GPA is a bit low, and so is the SAT. The Volunteer hours really stand out and Financial Aid does not work for or against you.

Someone please chance me.

Someone please chance me..

Please chance me.

Well your GPA stands against you I must admit, NEU looks only at Math and CR so a 1060 isn't out of their range as long as you elaborated effectivly on your Volunteer work. Any positions of leadership held in your school/academic honours? Without any extra information I would chance you at about 70% for acceptance.

Thanks sorakeyes.

Please chance me.

Your SAT's are going to hurt you in my opinion. Your GPA should fit. I would guess average GPA to NE is a 3.3. You sats will hurt you because their average SAT score is a 1260.
