Essays were pretty decent, I've been told I'm an excellent writer. I wrote about my Study abroad trip and in the other one I wrote about my web programming skills and experiences

Recommendations are good, I have a few coming from a Biology teacher, a Physics teacher and an English teacher

Theres a few other ECs that I didn't list on here, but those were the most important ones I thought.

My major weaknesses are probably my race and test scores. Hopefully they are still solid though! I am hoping that my study abroad experience, first-generation college student..ness, essays and class rank will get me into my dream school. (Notre Dame) I'll be taking the SAT subject tests in January so hopefully I'll get 700+ on those (I plan to study like crazy)

Leave a link for me to chance you!

You’ve chanced me already.

I smell deferral then acceptance. You’ve got a solid shot. Nothing over the top, but if I was a ND admissions officer, I’d think twice before rejection. Again, it’s a solid app.

Best of luck!

i’m going to be a bit more generous. I think holistically…

vigorous involvement (from what i can see… not going to lie after chancing so many people large text is kind of a blur)
great Sr. Sched
median test scores

I believe that your FIRST GEN status is the slight defining factor that will get you accepted.
in CC terms.
Notre Dame = MATCH :)

Thanks! I applied using CommonApp - do you know if Adcoms generally look at parent information on the app, or should I have mentioned that I was a first-generation student somewhere else in my application?
