Hi everyone, I'm new here, so I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong forum. I am a Junior in high school and was wondering how likely people think I am to get into NYU CAS, which, by the way, is my dream college. Anyways, here are my stats so far.

-White male. Jewish

-Undecided major, leaning towards economics or sociology.

-ED I

-Unweighted GPA around 3.9 (the gradebook is closed right now so I cant see exactly)
bear in mind I go to a very prestigious (not to sound cocky) private school and I have been told that, depending on the school applied to, colleges tend to look at our gpas as .5 to 1.0 point higher than they are.

-taking ACT on feb 8th - I got a 31 on the practice ACT, and based on practice tests I have taken so far, I figure I will get a 33 or 34.

-APs: Euro (5), currently taking US History. Plan on taking at least AP Lit next year along with Advanced History Research (an intense course revolving around individual in depth study during the summer and school year on a single local historical topic).
-I'm also on the advanced track for math, but not honors

-My school takes writing quality essays very seriously...so lets assume my application essays will be great (again, I don't want to sound cocky here, so please forgive me if that's how it seems lol)

-EC's:
Mock trial all four years (varsity, but smaller roles the first two years)
I take care of reef aquariums
Coral propagation and selling
I have worked for multiple fish stores
Using the same tools of the developers, I make custom maps for Call of Duty on my PC
I have taken camps for the past 4 summers for video game design
I lift weights and have been like a trainer for my chinese exchange student this year
I plan on finding another summer job or service project this next summer
I plan on starting a reef aquarium/coral propagation club next year if I can get the members
I hope to sign up for an NYU-held camp next summer

Oh and my dad went to grad school at NYU and my brother will be graduating from NYU next year.

Anyone's opinion is greatly appreciated. I would also love to hear recommendations regarding what I can do to better my odds. Thanks!
