<p>I got into NYU with an 1830 SAT composite and about a 3.7. It might’ve been because of my hispanic background that they decided to give me a chance, but honestly it isn’t worth it. The deposits are $800 and then the housing fee is another $1,000 on top of that. I paid all of those fees just to find out that it couldn’t get the loans for just one semester. Their financial aid office did not help AT ALL. Seriously, this years tuition is $54,441. You can get an equivalent education at another school for more than half the price. If you do get in, I would seriously consider the pros and cons before making a final decision.</p>
