Hi! After receiving my ACT score today, I decided to do this again and see how it affected things.

GPA: For all three years, it's a 90.38 (I think that's like a 3.5? Not positive.) My school does weird things with the weighting, so according to them, that's both my weighted and my unweighted GPA...not sure what to make of that. I had semester averages in the high eighties for my freshman and sophomore years, then pulled a 95.97 (weighted) last semester and am projecting about the same this semester...it's an upwards trend, and I have medical reasons as to why my average was lower as an underclassman. I've taken the hardest courses offered at my school--all honors, plus AP Global (Sophomore), AP US (Junior), and AP Language and Composition. Last semester, I also took a course at a nearby college, and I'm taking one this semester as well. Also, I don't know if this helps, but I go to one of the top 20 public high schools in America, according to US News and World Report.

ACT: 33! I was sooooo proud of this. (: I took it with writing, but I haven't gotten that score back yet.

Extra-Curriculars:
Volunteering, Babysitting, and Petsitting (minimally), but I also am the Vice-President of my school's Glee Club, the Secretary of Environmental Club.

I also sing in a world-reknowned children's chorus and have been in it for about five years...I've sung in two continents, and in pretty much every major concert hall in America, so I'm hoping that'll work to my advantage, especially because my conductor will write me a recommendation, and he's recently won a ton of prestigious awards.

I'm assuming I'll have stellar recommendations, and I'm very confident in my essay-writing abilities...sorry for how pretentious that sounded. I'm also hoping to get some internships this summer.

Oberlin's probably my top choice, but I'm also curious about Tufts (super reach), MacAlester, Muhlenberg, Bucknell, American University, Northeastern, Boston College, and Goucher. Also, I'd love any suggestions about where else to apply!

Thank you!
