<p>Hey all, I applied to Oberlin regular decision and would really appreciate it if someone could give me some input regarding my chances of admission</p>

<p>You know you have amazing ECs in my opinion, and it seems like you participated in certain clubs for a majority of your high school years (3yrs +) which is great. You have a pretty good ranking as well. I think your GPA is your killer though. But not a HUGE factor I feel due to your upward trend, and your ECs show you weren’t a “procrastinating pete” and you started early (around sophmore year). Wonderful SAT score I believe. and your robotics club does give light on your ambition to be an engineer/scientist. </p>

<p>everything suggests in, except i dont know how competitive your school is (so i don’t know the strength of that 3.7). You’re within the average GPA, but only if it’s a competitive public school. From what I read, I would assume it is.</p>
