Chance for OOS Cockrell?

So I'm a junior at a relatively competitive private school in South Florida.
We do not rank at my school in any way, so there won't be a rank on my transcript.

My freshman grades were horrible (All B's and a C)
My sophomore grades were All A's and 2 B's
My junior grades so far are 3A's and 3B's (1 is borderline)

GPA: Weighted 3.8~

I've never taken a regulars class in my school, and have been in all honors the entire way, this year I am taking two AP's, AP Biology and APUSH
I'm planning on taking AP Enviro, AP Gov, and AP Calc AB next year, since I'm taking Calc Honors this year.

My SAT scores: Over two test dates
CR:670
M:640
W:720 (11 Essay)
Superscore: 1310/2030

I'm planning on my essays and recommendations to be great.

I want to apply to the CAEE.
Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering at Cockrell.

Is there anything else I can do to help improve my chances for this school?

Thank You!

Which department, specifically? Architectural engineering is one of the hardest to get into in the entire university.

architectural is very difficult. Even still, being out of state means you are going to need top notch stats for cockrell.

Sorry for not specifying,
my number one choice would be environmental engineering,
and my number two choice would be architectural engineering

bump…

I don’t know what to tell you. My son’s test scores are higher than yours, and I’m not sure if he will get in. 640 in math seems pretty low for engineering. I’m just a stranger on the internet, though, so you probably shouldn’t listen to me! Just go for it and see what happens.

Your chances aren’t great as an out of state student with only a decent SAT math score for engineering. Do apply though.

i will take the SAT again, and i am aiming for a 700 in math,
thanks for the replies tho
