Chance for out of state student?

Hey everyone!

I'm a junior at a prep school around Philadelphia, and I'm Asian male.

I'm also looking(hoping) to run track for UCLA, but let's just say that's still a work in progress.

GPA: 3.66, 3.48, aiming for 3.7-3.8 for junior and senior year so my cumulative GPA will be around 3.7. Unweighted

Classes:
AP Calc BC/Multivariable
AP Computer Science
AP Chinese 4
Physics H
English 3
US History

People from my school with gpa's around 3.7 have gone to schools like BC, UPenn,Columbia, Cornell,Duke....etc

SAT's: around 750 for Math, around 650 for CR, and around 700 for Writing

SATII's: around 650 for Chem(haven't gotten my score back), and planning to take Physics and MathIIC(should get 750-800)

EC: Tour Guide(head next year), Peer Counseling(head next year), Peer Tutor, Big Siblings Program. Over 100 hours volunteering at hospital. Prefect next year.

Varsity Tennis(9)
Varsity Track (10,11,12)
Varsity Indoor Track OR Basketball (11,12)

Like I said before I'm trying to run track at UCLA. But my jumps aren't good enough yet(as of now). Do any of you guys know information about recruiting for UCLA?

I feel like both my grades and athletics are just coming up short for UCLA.

Thanks guys!

Slight reach

Taiwaneseterror:

UCLA: Slight Reach (out of state)

What do you guys mean by slight reach? Does it mean I have a bigger chance of not getting in?

No, it means that you have a smaller chance of not getting in. (hence, slight.)
