<p>I've finished my application, but I got hung up on the essay. And from other threads I've been reading, the essay doesn't even matter, apparently! :O</p>

<p>And since Rutgers applies on a "space-available" basis, it's going to be a little disadvantageous to me since my GPA is low and I'm OOS.</p>

<p>Asian male living in New York City, attending 20th best public high school in the nation.
GPA: 3.0/4.0
SAT: 1430/2070 (650CR/780MA/640WR)
SATII: 590 World (what a pain :(), 800 Math Level 2, 780 Math Level 1.
Recommendations are coming from a teacher I'm close with: I didn't do that great or that badly in his class though :-/
Extracurriculars are .. math team (9 and 12), golf team (9-12, captain this year), chess club, go club, computer club, all for four years.
I don't have much outside volunteer experience, I volunteered at a children's center for a little while.</p>

<p>Yeah I know answering chance threads are a pain but can somebody PLEASE give me a response? I'm really really tense and nervous.</p>

<p>I also forgot to add in some information here: I'm not a US citizen but I'm living in the US and I hold citizenships in South Korea and Canada. Does this help because I'm technically "international" or does it really not matter at all?</p>

<p>A good friend of mine got in already (3.9 GPA, similar SATs :O) and I'm REALLY nervous right now. :(</p>
