Thanks in advance for the help.

You seem to be the type of candidate that Brown is looking for in its PLME applicants, so you’ve got – as highly competitive as the program’s admissions is – a great chance.

I don’t think retaking the SAT would be worth your time unless you’ve already done the prep and are consistently scoring at or near 2400.

You should also try asking this in the Multiple Degree Programs section. Students who were previously admitted may be better able to “chance” you.

But, wow! You have a lot of medically related activities!

Thanks silverturtle and theking101.
I am not very well prepared for SAT again. I have about and month and half. I was hoping super scoring might help me, but then again, I may be splitting hair. Sometimes I feel I could better use the time to work on the app and senior year leadership.

I like the idea of posting this in the multiple programs section. I’ll also correct a few things I missed.
Thanks again

I agree with that feeling.

From what you have listed, I would think you have an excellent chance of making the “first cut” from general reading of your application, into the “look at for PLME” group. (and that means a good chance at regular application). So if PLME really feels right for you, I would give it a chance. You will have to answer the question for yourself (and express it well in your application) as to whether the PLME program is a good fit for you, and you for it. So do invest the time into the app. Remember that in the final admits/denials for PLME that many students who have “perfect” credentials will still not get into PLME. There are many subtle factors (the whole class can’t be female/asian/ from NE etc) and there are far more applicants who are qualified than slots. One question I often ask on interviews is "if you didn’t get into PLME, how “right for you” would Brown’s standard acceptance be?
