<p>For Pomona and U Chicago essays will be important and you EC’s are good but a little commonplace being music. Try to think how you could contribute to the campuses and show that in your essays. Your academics really look great and strong, but I think these schools tend to look for something a little bit extra - Somewhere someone shared an article where the difference was described as as analogous to being a good technical musician vs being more artistic in your playing. These schools are looking for you to show something beyond academic accomplishment. For Pomona visiting and interviewing makes a fairly big difference. Stand out.</p>
