good luck to everyone applying! and thank you for taking the time to look at this!

Hey, I’m a current UNC student, so I can maybe give you a general chance. Your GPA falls a little below the average UNC (your unweighted, I mean, not your weighted), but not by a whole lot. Your test scores and ECs are great! Being OOS gives you a smaller chance than in state, as OOS at UNC is only 18%. However, I think you definitely have a fair shot at it. I’m not an admissions officer, so I obviously can’t say for sure, but I think you definitely have a good chance of getting in. Best of luck!

@tarheeler thank you! that’s what I was thinking too, so I worked a lot of my essays.

sorry to be at annoying person, but I know you kind people of College Confidential will understand. any other opinions?
I don’t know if this helps but I was accepted to Tufts ED (but had to withdrawl for financial reasons), was accepted to Villanova Honors and am a Scholarship Finalist, and was accepted to Northeastern Honors.

Senior,
I think you have a great shot at it too. As you have heard, getting accepted to UNC from OOS is very difficult, but I wish you the best. You have great stats and will get into some great schools for sure!!
