Chance for Rutgers Pharmacy Please?

<p>Hey everyone, just wanted to find out my prospective chances for getting into Rutgers Pharm with my stats. If possible, please include what i can improve on. </p>

<p>*** Please keep in mind that im in the middle of my junior year and my grades are showing an upwards trend.</p>

<p>Unweighted GPA: 3.92 (not including junior year)
Weighted GPA: 5.23 (not including junior year)
SAT: 1st attempt - 2060 (630M, 630CR, 800W) --> will be taking atleast twice more and i know i can hit atleast a 750m and 690CR idk what happened there)
PSAT: 206 commended</p>

<p>INSTATE applicant</p>

<p>By the time i apply, i will have: All honors classes (with the exception of Spanish for freshman and sophomore year), AP Lang Comp, AP Lit, AP Calc AB, AP Spanish, AP Stats, AP Chemistry, maybe AP Biology.</p>

<p>Junior Year stats and schedule so far: (mp1 and mp2)</p>

<p>Honors Physics A+, A+</p>

<p>AP Lang comp A-, A</p>

<p>Honors Pre-calc - A, A+</p>

<p>AP US History II - A, A</p>

<p>Honors Spanish - A-, A-</p>

<p>EC's: 2nd degree black belt + MMA for 9 yrs (does this help?) + Teaching for 2 yrs, Key Club (9,10,11), Rotary Club(9), Make an Impact club (11), JV Tennis (10, 11), 1st chair baritone (10), Wind Ensemble (11), Volunteer at hospital, Internship at a pharmacy company</p>

<p>There have been at least four people in my school who had a sub 3.8 UW GPA and sub-2050 SAT and got in Rutgers Pharm. If it weren’t for ED I’d have went to Rutgers Pharm so I have enough of an idea of its admissions to know you’ll get in. :]</p>

<p>well that is reassuring, im working hard on getting my SAT up above 2200 and i forgot to mention i have a 740 on Chem SAT II, not great but its decent → will be taking AP US and Math II in June.</p>

<p>Your a very solid match for this program, though I question the stability of the pharmacy profession itself. It has been predicted (at least in the more populated areas) that pharmacy may yield lower job prospects and dwindling ( though still very respectable) wages.</p>
