Chance for schools, will chance back

Okay, here we go.

Some of the more important stuff...

Leadership:
Westview Ensemble Club President (12th) and Westset trio founder.
FTC Robotics Team Captain (10th)

School Activities
SAT I: 2210
ACT: 35 Composite
SAT II Math II: 790
SAT II Biology M: 760
Class Rank: 12/649
11 APs, AP tests: Lang-4, Lit-4, CalcAB-5, Bio-5, Psych-5, Econ Mic&Mac-5, Physics-5
Essays: They should be pretty good, according to my lit teachers who reviewed them.
Recs: Should be pretty good, probably not amazing (I honestly don't know). Also getting a supplemental Rec from a Radiation Medicine Physician and vice-director.

Schools:
Early Action Stanford, Cornell, Rice (Rice/Baylor), WashU, USC (BacMD), Northwestern, JHU, Duke, Case Western (Combined Medical), University of Rochester (REMS)

I'd like to know how well I fare getting into the schools, the combined medical programs, as well as possible merit-based aid for Rice and USC.

Feel free to only chance a couple schools, 'cause I know I'm asking a lot.

You are very specialized, no doubt. I don’t know if ethnicity really plays a big role, but if you were asian you would probably be the typical ivy league reaching asian science dude.

But aside from that, you have a very strong profile. Lot’s of focus, and excellent enough test scores / GPA to be competitive.

I would say that like for everybody Stanford is a crapshoot, but who knows? I could see you getting into Cornell [possibility] and Rice, Wash U and Northwestern are your best bets. Not too informed about JHU or Duke or the others but it seems like a good possibility.

Overall pretty good. Could hurt you because of so many similar applications, but we don’t know how far your essays will put you! Good luck out there.

You are a solid applicant, beautiful ACT score - best of luck. Be sure to apply to USC before the Dec. 1 deadline if you are seeking merit aid.

Stanford EA - reach for everyone
Cornell - low reach
Rice (Rice/Baylor) - high match
WashU, USC (BacMD) - match
Northwestern, JHU - low reach
Duke - low reach
University of Rochester (REMS) - match
