Chance for SDSU nursing?

Chance me for SDSU Nursing please!

Hi! I’m a high school junior on the brink of applying to university this fall. My major will be nursing and my dream school is definitely SDSU. I know that the program is insanely competitive (like less than 6% admitted) but I have a couple things that may give me a boost so can you give me your opinion?

CSU Capped GPA: 3.92 (not the best)
Weighted high school GPA: 4.18
Rank: 86/600 (again not the best :-/)

Sat/ACT: I haven’t taken it because of Corona cancelling all the spring ones. It not a requirement anymore due to this pandemic so I may not take it at all because I have unstable internet at home if the test is online.
I was thinking since the SAT is not required for CSUs and UCs, they will look more holistically at the applicant such as not only gpa but demographics and extracurriculars?

My extracurriculars include:
-Volunteering at hospital with 100+ hours for 2 years and I did 100+hours of volunteering with AFJROTC
-AFJROTC for 4 years with 3 years of public speaking team leadership+ I am the 2nd highest leadership position in school program (Vice Wing Commander)
-Brigade staff (the highest JROTC leadership in the entire San Diego County) I don’t plan on joining ROTC in college. So military is not a factor in my application
-Student ambassador for new students and parents for my school
-Premedical Club for 4 years and President
-Student Gov. for 4 years and Prom committee treasurer
-National Honors Society for 2 years and officer position
-Receptionist at Nail Salon for 2 years

Demographics:
-Low Income, First Gen, Immigrant but Am. Citizen
-I live in San Diego, so I think this may give me a bit of a boost since I see locals have priority (but again my stats dont fall directly high on the average admit for nursing at SDSU)
-Seal of biliteracy in Spanish
-I also speak Vietnamese as my first language

I took from soph-jun year
AP World
Honors Chem
Honors English
Ap Lang
APUSH
AP Chem
Honors Precalc

And scored mostly Bs, but I did get As. No C or lower.

Please let me know what you think? I will update next year. Thanks!

Since SDSU admits by eligibility index using your capped weighted CSU GPA and test scores, not sure how they plan to handle admissions this year. Too much unknown at this point. How are your Biology/Chemistry and Math grades since there will probably a higher emphasis on grades and GPA?

Cal states do not consider EC’s in their admission decision and they are not listed on your CSU application so unless they change the application form, your EC’s will help for the UC’s only.

Here is the Nursing profile for the last few years excluding this years class to give you an idea of your chances.
