If you look at my previous threads, you can see that I don’t know whether to apply to an art major, or just a normal major. Any Suggestions and Chances Welcome.

Also, I have a Canadian Passport, but go to a school in the USA; do I have to apply as international or local?
-Could you guys also suggest some other schools worth looking into? Im still in the “looking phase”.

Hmm… can anyone please give me suggestions? Ill be sure to chance back :)

solid rank/good sat score should help you a lot. however, ecs are week with minimal leadership and scattered interest apart from volunteering. apart from nyu and cmu, the other schools are definitely reaches. apply to a few targets and one or two safeties. you will probably get into a ivy or 2 because of academics but those ecs will definteitly hurt

bump it up 10 char

No chance at Iys with no leadership. Sorry

Ty for the input, ive still got 2 years for leadership positions. Just to re-iterate, leadership positions are extraordinarily limited at my school.

bump again thx

Well, if your schools sends its top 20+ to Ivies every year, you should determine whether you’re in the top 20.

Yes, you’re an international student.

If you’re at an elite preparatory school, shouldn’t you have counselors there to do this for you? Without knowing which school, it’s hard to know your chances.
