Chance for Spring 2013 Transfer (ILR)

Hey all,

I am currently a freshman at UC San Diego, majoring in Management Science. I would like to transfer to ILR for Spring 2013 semester. I am really interested in the multi-disciplinary approach that ILR brings to business practices. One of the key things I think it emphasizes is a mixture of qualitative and quantitative problem solving methods to business and labor relations...something my major at UCSD lacks. I would like to work, one day, in Private Equity or Consulting (specifically HR or Strategy). I do not have a GT. I have heard rumors that it is more difficult to transfer for the Spring semester. Are these rumors substantiated by any actual evidence?

Anyways, here are my stats:

College GPA: 3.97/4.00

We are still finishing the last quarter, but I am finishing strong. Courses I have taken include:
-Intro to Microeconomics
-Intro to Macroeconomics
-Financial Accounting
-Calculus (2 courses of single variable: differentiation and integration)
-College Core GE Writing Intensive Courses (Essentially World History Courses)
-Chinese Level 1 (My one A-)
-Music Course (GE)
-Visual Arts Course (GE)

I am also part of the Honors Program.
Awards: Provost Honors (essentially Dean's List)

In addition to this, I have become involved in several extracurricular activities on campus. These include:
-Officer on Undergraduate Investment Society
-Officer on Business Council
-Analyst for Student Foundation Investment Committee
-VP for Financial Professional's Network
-VP for a foreign affairs publication

I will also be interning over the summer at a Private Equity Firm.

My High School Stats:

High School GPA:
UW- 3.5/4.0
W- 4.5/4.0
Rank - 24/735
ACT Score: 34/36

6 AP Courses. 1 score of "5", 4 scores of "4", and 1 score of "3"
Graduated with an IB diploma as well.

Notable Extracurriculars from High School:
