Chance for Stanford, Brown and other schools? Will chance back!

<p>Hello all! I'm doing a "Chance Me" thread for my friend who does not have a CC account. And if you chance her, I will gladly chance you back! Here are the schools which she is applying to (she's a junior):</p>

SAT: Took it in May, will probably fall in the 2200-2300 range (based off of practice tests)</p>

Senior Course Load: Full IB Diploma</p>

-Varsity Soccer (sophomore year, likely senior year)</p>

-volunteer at hospital (2 years)</p>

-self-taught programming
-self-taught Russian
-will self-teach herself some more German this summer</p>

-National Spanish Exam silver (sophomore) and gold (junior)
-likely John and Abigail Adams Scholarship (for the MCAS)

<p>She has a chance at all of the colleges, but Stanford is a reach, so make sure that she had a golden application and stellar essays that will make her stand out over the other applicants! Do this and no doubt she can get into most of these colleges!!</p>

<p>chances are she will get into most of the colleges, but I have to say that both Stanford and brown are low reaches.

<p>Assuming that she does end up getting around a 2300 on her SAT, she should be competitive. E.C.'s look good, and they do show some leadership. Course load looks rigorous, and with Key Club, I assume a lot of Community Service. I would say that she’ll get into all, with Stanford and Brown being low reaches. That is of course assuming great essays and recommendations. </p>
