Chance for Stanford, Northwestern, Berkeley, etc. Chance back!

Before I begin, I have an EXTREMELY unique background story, (Both parents were African immigrants, really hard struggle. Dad had cancer and given 6 months to live during freshman year) So it kind of held me back for certain things.. Anyway, here are the stats! Upcoming Junior

GPA: 3.8 (With freshman year) 3.9+ (Without freshman year) (Both without weight)

ACT: Getting 32s on practice, so I expect mid to high 30s.

ECs: Math Team (Got to State), Engineering/Robotics Team (Got ranked 3rd globally) Student Council, Ran for Class President, Researching at University of Chicago next summer, "Internship"/ Shadowing Experience with Neurosurgeon (Only student to ever do so, I'm right next to him in the ER!), Volunteering at Nursing Home, Starting up Cancer Research fund (Raised $3000 so far!), DRIVEN club (Founder/President, selective academic club at school for top students interested in going to top universities)
Hooks: URM, Location, First Generation College

*I'm a Harvard Legacy through my uncle and grandfather if it makes a difference. My uncle works on admissions and scholarships.

Schedule: (I've always taken the hardest classes available, and doubled up where I can)
Honors American Studies (Pretty much AP US History)
Spanish III
AP Statistics
Honors Physics
Honors PreCalculus
Honors Biology II (Taught at AP level, by former Cornell Prof.)

Chance me please! Advice on how to get in?

Bump?..

Keep studying for the ACT. You have excellent ECs.

Getting into elite schools will probably depend on writing excellent essays that tell your unique story. Just write killer essays, and you’ll have a lot of options.

Chance me back: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1546233-chance-me-ivies-top-lacs.html

You have great ECs, but your GPA and ACT are a little low for Stanford.
Stanford: reach
Northwestern: high match
Berkeley: match

Awesome profile! If you get 32-33 on the ACT, I’d say you have the following chances:

Stanford: high reach
Northwestern: low reach
Berkeley: mid reach

Aim high on the ACT! GPA is a little below par, but that can be overlooked given your special circumstances and excellant extracurriculars.
