Chance for Stern or CAS? How different is it?

Hi everyone. I'm mainly applying to schools as an econ major, but I want to do anything with business/econ and math. I would like to be in Stern if I were to attend NYU, but how much harder is it to get in than CAS?

Can you guys chance me for Stern and CAS? For the record, I am international but kids form my school go to NYU very often.

GPA:around a 3.8-3.9/4
ACT:34 Compositive
SAT2: 800math2, 780 physics, 730 chem

Rank: school doesn't rank

Course Rigor:Full IB with 4 HLs, 2AP's in 10 grade (most AP's allowed in 10th grade)

ECs- wont go too much into detail-

Varsity Basketball- captain and MVP 10th, 11th grade.. All-conference
Varsity Soccer- captain in 11th and 12th grade, MVP 11th grade... All-conference
School newspaper since 10th grade- editor in 12th
student tutor
founder and president of a club that donates money to the UN world food program
intern at a company which deals with EU economic affairs

Some other things, but those are the main ones.

How do I look for Stern and CAS? I'm assuming CAS will be easier to get into, but what are my odds (approximately) for each school? Are they both holistic, or do they tend to be a bit more predictable when it comes to admittance (based on test scores and GPA, for example).

Thanks for any help guys.

Stern is very hard to get into but your stats look competitive. I’d say you have a decent shot but you can never really know.

Stern is very competitive, but I think you’re a strong applicant. You should definitely apply.
USC-low reach
UMichigan-low match
UCLA-reach
UCB-reach
Northwestern-reach
Miami-match
Brown-low reach

(a lot of these schools are just so competitive)
