[ *] Other Factors/questions:Will my low SAT score really lower my chances since I'm sending my SAT IIs?
Also I'm doing regular because I'm applying for ED at Cornell CALS, but should I still apply early? Thanks.

You can't apply early if you're doing ED at Cornell. SAT is low for Stern.

I realize my SAT is low, but wouldn't they disregard that because of my ACT score?

But yeah when I said apply early I meant just to send in my application asap after it's completed instead of waiting for the deadline , not early action or anything.

^ Totally missed that. But yeah, they would take the ACT score. You have to send in your SAT IIs by the way, NYU requires 2. If they are good, statistically you look set for Stern.

For an asian applicant, your SAT scores are rather low. Most asian applicants have scores in the 2100s and above. The ones being accepted with scores below 2000 are underrepresented minorities (hispanics and african americans). you might get in, but chances are lower than average.

eh, again wouldn't say ignore the SAT score and take the ACT? That's converts to about 2200. But if it's really that important I'll take it again in october, I know I can raise it, I just had a bad day.

I'm not quite sure what happens when you have both the SAT and ACT, but just to be safe, I'd retake the SAT. Stern keeps getting more competitive each year, (this year's acceptance rate was 14%) so higher scores certainly are going to help.
