GPA: 3.56 (GPA uses a strange 5.5 max gpa scale where 4.5 and above is top 10%)
Percentile: Top 25% of 400 students
ACT: 29 (E:35, M: 25, R: 31, S: 26)
NYS Resident

Regular Classes
AP US Exam: 4
Taking 1 AP in senior year
Took Stony Brook ACE where he got an A in that Engineering Honors class (+6 stony brook credits)
Decent Essay
No Financial Aid
Passed all regents

Worked at a camp for 3 years for the summer
Rowing Club in 9th+10th
15 years of Tae Kwon Do (black belt)

The [SUNY website](https://www.suny.edu/media/suny/content-assets/documents/summary-sheets/Admissions_qf_stateop.pdf) lists SAT/ACT ranges for different SUNY achools. Stony Brook’s ACT range is 26-31, so he’s a competitive applicant.
