This fall I want to apply to University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I have a 3.1 GPA (I know, weak) and a 22 ACT (I know, also weak). Varsity tennis, work experience, animal shelter volunteer, errrrrm thats about it lol. Without the laughter at my grades, do you think I can get in?

Oh yeah, I forgot 5 ap classes

I think you have very good chances! Best of luck!

bump…any more opinions?

Is that 3.1 unweighted? I’m assuming so.
You seem like the average accepted student there. I don’t know much at all about the school but just looking at the school’s stats, you seem about right!

In easily. No question. They don’t get many people from Texas.

Are you URM? Doesn’t matter totally, but then you’d be more of a lock.
Still retake the ACT, though.

Thanks, my SAT results are a bit better. I am still really stressing about it, idk why I checked and my stats are a bit higher than the average accepted student. I guess its just anxiety and the need for high school to be over with.

If a school has only like 6-8% oos students would that make it harder or easier? (for an oos student)

bump…

bump…

just retake the act, and make sure you prep
if you can score above a 25 i think you are in for a great shot!
