Chance for succesful transfer?

Hi, I am a freshman in college and am trying to transfer to Umich-Ann Arbor (for fall 2009) from Emory University

I was rejected by Michigan when i applied my senior year of HS (i am from michigan so it was my top choice), and am wondering what kind of chances i would have with a transfer application this year.

Applying to: LSA
Major: either Econ or Business
(Likely)First semester GPA: 3.2-3.5 (classes: Calc 1, Biology, Micro econ, Psychology, all intro classes 100 level etc.)
EC's: Emory Orchestra, Club tennis, Chinese student association

SAT/ACT: 2220 (M:780, R:750, Wr:690), 34
SAT II's: 800 Math II, 750 Chinese, 670 European History
High School GPA: 3.57 unweighted, 6 IB classes

assuming that i have competent but not spectacular essays, do I have a shot at succesfully transferring to Umich or would i just get shot down again?

i would think you have a decent shot. if your gpa goes up a little, that would be great. but even with these stats from emory you have a good shot.

Your in Brah. Or we could just switch positions ;)
