National church affiliated program similar to the Boy Scouts. Finished all levels of required course/badgework, Master Guide rank (similar to Eagle Scout rank in Boy Scouts). (pretty massive time commitment). Also encompasses at least 150 hours of volunteer work.</p>

<p>Summers:
- Interned at a large regional hospital and research center - helped recruit patients for a drug study, did research in relation to another drug study that was in early stages.
- Did research under a mentor in relation to memory disorders (hope to be published!?)
- TASP program (Telluride Association), Precollege at CMU under the AP/EA program.
- Senior Year summer: Hope to be a Senate Page!</p>

<p>Recs: Probably average/one of them from math teacher may be above average.
Essays: Great! - One of them talks about how I could never do school sports in high school due to a conflict of religious belief due to practices/games being on Saturdays. Another talked about the obstacles my mom overcame in becoming a doctor in the US after coming from nothing in India, and how that influenced me.</p>
