During my freshman and sophomore years, my father was involved in a legal battle that eventually ended with him going to jail for one year. During this time I was very stressed out and my grades suffered quite a bit. This is explained in one of my essays and my guidance counselor's recommendation.

So now that you've read my whole story, chance me for the following schools
Princeton
Columbia
Brown
UChicago
Georgetown SFS
JHU
NYU
GWU
UMD
American

The fact that you have a major upward trend in your gpa is good and will be noted by colleges. 4.0 for both years will definitely help. Your test scores are awesome, and I wouldn’t put any school out of reach for you. Good luck with the applications!
