Please chance for Duke, Caltech, UPenn, Stanford, MIT, Georgia Tech, and any other good engineering schools you know about. Thx :)

Looking good. Probably in at Duke, Gatech. Decent chances at Penn. Caltech, Stanford and MIT are uber-competitive. You have to prove that something stands out.

Chance me back: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/702662-common-cure-college-anxiety-2-chance-international.html

MIT, Stanford, and UPenn to me look like they will be the hardest for you. The others look very favorable for you.

Other schools to consider:

HYP?
UCBerkeley
Harvey Mudd
Cooper Union
Carnegie Mellon
Rice

your test scores and GPA seem solid to me, but your ECs don’t really jump off the page…whch is why i think Duke, Stanford, and MIT esp will be high reaches for you. qualifying for the AIME is impressive, but what were your actual results? were you ranked nationally? thats the kind of stuff that math/engineering schools like MIT/CalTech look for, imo…
three of my friends got into caltech this year with lower SAT scores than you and a less impressive resume, so i think you have a very good shot there :slight_smile: GL!
p.s. chance me back if you have time? :stuck_out_tongue:
oh and- on your other schools…
HYP = high reaches…you need something to make you stand out
Berkeley = very good shot
Harvey Mudd = your in dude
Cooper Union = in, most likely
Carnegie = good shot
Rice = good shot

Wow…you want to major in Engineering and your not applying to Cornell…lmao.

you have a good chance at all of the colleges you mention but you never know what they might do

for carnegie you’re gonna be accepted cuz on top of the great stats u have research and math team - they like that
cooper union in also

You have a good chance at all… dont worry about that…
In terms of stats, you have the recommended… But you know MIT and stanford…its a toss up for everyone!

Goodluck!
