Chance for top schools?

-3.99 unweighted GPA
-Ranked 3/622
-SAT I: 2250
-ACT: 34
-Taken 5 AP's through Junior year, 3 for senior year, rest is all honors</p>

<p>ECs:
-3 years varsity cross country, all conference, captain
-3 years varsity basketball, captain
-4 years varsity track, all conference, captain
-NHS, 2 years on leadership team, senior co-president
-FCA, 2 years on leadership team
-Played trumpet since 6th grade, member of school's top band
-Teach Sunday School at my church</p>

<p>Summer:
-Volunteer at local hospital
-Lot of running, lifting, and basketball</p>

<p>Undecided on what I'll major in.. white male from the midwest, attend a large public high school</p>

<p>I don’t know, you are certainly qualified in terms of grades and stats, but nothing stands out to me. Usually when I chance somebody who wants to go to HYPS they have the great stats and unique awards, a ton of volunteer hours and/or impressive research. Go for it, that being said I would pick one or two top ten schools and apply, other then that apply for more matches and safeties.</p>

<p>Yes not having anything overly unique is scaring me. Do you have any advice of what else I could do to help my chances?</p>
