<p>My goal is to attend UMich and will pick it over any school, but i am also applying to other top schools just to see what happens. </p>

<p>I will have a 3.8+ gpa and credits nearing almost 50 when i plan on applying. My grades are an upward trend. I live in Michigan. Single mother with 4 children. First generation. Member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. Prof. Rec. letters and phi theta kappa rec. letter. held a partime job every semester. played on my college's soccer team last year.</p>

<p>seeking an undergrad in Econ and Math.</p>

<p>Since you are instate, I think you have a great shot at Michigan. Just write a good as essay as to why you want to go there.</p>

<p>How on earth would a single mom with 4 kids move to NYC or Chicago to go to college? Is your list realistic in terms of a life for your family? I think schools will wonder.</p>

<p>sorry for the mixup…my mom is a single parent with 4 children. counselors have told me that helps a lil. and i never took the SAT. i took the ACT 4 years ago and got a 21 or 22…didnt really care about education at that point in my life.</p>
